“We discovered this place by chance on Google looking for a train ride for the kids and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all! Great experience, the kids really enjoyed it and so did us adults. The staff is exceptional here – I believe most, if not all, are volunteers. They were all super friendly, helpful and willing to share history and stories. The train ride lasts a good 40 minutes, plus they did a switchover – after we went to the one end, they move the engine around to the front of the train to return. You can ride an open air car, caboose & passenger cars through the country side over a few bridges, crossings and along and over a creek or two. They also have those open mini cars you can ride on the rails, a nice model railroad display in a caboose, a gift shop, refreshments, and more. Well worth it, especially on kids day! All very, very reasonably priced in comparison to other similar train rides.”

“It was a very special day. Everyone was so welcoming and happy. The location is beautiful!
My grandson is visually impaired and he had quite a bit of anxiety before we boarded. Dave came along and stepped right up. He really helped him enjoy the experience. Thanks for the hat Dave! The train itself is a very pleasant ride. Dave told us to find him when we got back. He promptly scooped up my grandson and took him on the motor car. He kept a him calm and Chris the driver was great too.
We loved our ice cream and my grandson had the opportunity to ride a miniature horse!
It was a great day and I highly recommend the experience for everyone.
Thank you to all!”

“We had a wonderful visit to the train station yesterday with my grand babes who are visiting from Bermuda. They are 3 and 15 months. They loved the train ride and the petting zoo. My grandson even rode a pony for the first time. They even let him blow the train whistle in the museum for the miniature trains. Everyone was so friendly, informative and helpful. Even when I tripped into a hole that had.”
