May 18.
HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF!!!
During the 1900’s, students rode our line aboard the “Berksy” to go to school in Slatington! Well, the WK&S will be taking students to school again this year! Not to Slatington (that would be a very painful/impossible train ride) but to the Wanamaker Station for Pottery Classes!!!
Here are the class dates and projects for each class:
May 18 – Garden flower class
June 22 – Dessert Plates (4 plates will be made)
September 21 – Pumpkins & Ghost
October 12 – Christmas Tree
You will board the 1 p.m. train at the Kempton Station (42 Community Center Drive, Kempton, PA) and arrive for class in Wanamakers. The cost will be $61 ($55 for class; $6 “student” train fare). Train returns at approximately 3:20 p.m.
You will be making the project and Jo will glaze based on your choice of colors. Your project will be available for pick up 2 weeks later at the Kempton Station (Sunday between the hours of 1 and 4 p.m.).
We are so excited…going to school has NEVER been so much fun!!! Refreshments will be available. (Classes are limited to 12 students…don’t delay, reserve your seat TODAY!)
